Coronavirus: Florida governor issues statewide, 30-day stay-at-home order
A statewide lockdown was issued by Florida governor, from Friday, April 3 and continue until early May. All citizen activity will be limited to essential services and necessities. This order comes into effect after COVID-19 cases near 7,000 and over 80 have died.

US government doctor warns that as many as 240,000 US citizens may die due to the coronavirus pandemic. These estimations are made with our current efforts to slow the spread of the virus with lockdowns and social distancing. Dr. Deborah Birx also said that without efforts to stop the virus, between 1.5 and 1.2 million citizens could die from COVID-19.
Earth Is Literally Moving Less Now That We’re All on Lockdown
Seismologists have observed less ambient seismic noise because of self-quarantine due to the current pandemic. These vibrations from human activity affect the earth below the surface and can induce earthquakes. A 30% decrease in ambient human noise has been observed in Belgium since the COVID-19 lockdown.
