Rough debate performance by moderators a blow to CBS News
The February 25 debate brought many viewers, but devolved into chaotic arguing. The moderators failed to enforce the time limits for candidates. This lead to lots of shouting and candidates talking over each other without restraint.
Why Bernie Sanders won the debate
Sanders was a primary target of attack from the other candidates during the debate. He was attacked on his comments on socialist school systems and records on gun control, among other issues. Despite these attacks, public response shows Sanders as the most impressive candidate on the stage that night.

Many viewers observed that the crowd’s reaction to candidates cheered loudly in favor of Bloomberg. Other candidates like Warren and Sanders were booed and jeered at, especially while make attacks against Bloomberg. After discovering the steep $1,750-$3,200 price of tickets, many suspect that it has to do with the correlation of wealthy voters supporting the billionaire Bloomberg.
